他较为瞩目的展览包括:作为“2022年全国科学周”项目之一在 Counihan 画廊举办的《Leftovers of a Ghost》(墨尔本,2022年);在Phoenix画廊举办的《A Study of the Boy with Wings》(雅典,2023年);以及近期举办的《Crossing a Shoreless Sea》(胡志明市,2025年),这也是该艺术家在亚洲的首个个展。

Spivak studied at the Cooper Union School of Art, NYC, and received a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Vancouver (2015). After graduation, he migrated to Naarm/Melbourne to develop his practice and begin a professional career in the Arts. His more notable exhibitions include Leftovers of a Ghost at Counihan Gallery (Melbourne, 2022) programmed into National Science Week 2022; A Study of the Boy with Wings at Phoenix Gallery (Athens, 2023); and most recently, Crossing a Shoreless Sea (Ho Chi Minh, 2025), which marks the artist’s first solo exhibition in Asia. Spivak was awarded the 2021 Emerging Artist Award presented by FortyFive Downstairs and has been shortlisted for numerous other awards, including the 2024 Incinerator Art Award (VIC) and the 2026 Wyndham Art Prize (VIC). He was featured as VOGUE Living’s ‘Fresh Take’, being named as “one of the most promising young Australian artists” of 2022. Spivak has exhibited both nationally and internationally.

Spivak’s work engages in an ongoing dialogue with the alchemical qualities of materials, allowing their innate properties to guide and shape the outcome. This collaboration with matter results in process-driven artworks that emphasise transformation, decay, and the unseen forces in the material world. He is particularly interested in the invisible – energies, connections, identities – and how they might be made tangible through artistic process. His studio becomes a site of curiosity and inquiry, where accidents are welcomed, and intuition is trusted. Through this exploration, his work examines the porous boundaries between the self and the environment. Spivak’s practice is a meditation on presence, memory, and the act of noticing, while inviting the viewer into a space where perception is questioned.
