Tresidder出生于科诺半岛的乡村，在英国伦敦威斯敏斯特大学以优异成绩获得混合媒体美术学士学位，之后前往位于米克马基的新斯科舍艺术设计学院攻读艺术硕士学位。他的作品常以抽象的双联画和多联画形式呈现，运用少数民族语言中的地形概念，作为绘画词汇去殖民化框架。Tresidder涉猎过装置、版画、电影和策展，但他的创作实践始终以语言和绘画为中心。他的作品探究色彩在当地环境中的解读方式，并探讨如何通过色彩调色板和理论的演变和去英语化，赋予颜料新的语境。

From the rural peninsula of Kernow, Tresidder completed his Bachelors with honours, at the University of Westminster in Mixed Media Fine Art, London UK, before studying for his MFA at Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, Mi’kma’ki. Often amassing in abstract diptychs and polyptychs, his work employs ideas of topography within minority languages, as a framework for decolonizing the vocabulary surrounding painting. Tresidder has dabbled with installation, print, film and curation, however his practice is centred in language and paint. His work investigates how colours are interpreted in local environs, and examines how devolving and de-Anglicizing colour palettes & theory, can give pigments a new context.
