Max Dooher is an interdisciplinary artist and computational designer primarily based in Nova Scotia, Canada. Interested in the histories that exist in the interactions between people and technology, Max creates screen-based applications and media installations that engage the public with modes of inquiry into shared (offline/online) spaces, often through augmented realities and processes of collective archiving. His work explores the poetic possibilities within data, the absurdities of machine-generated meaning, and how networked spaces shape memory, identity, and community in contemporary society.
