Caillin Zhang是一位居住和工作在悉尼的澳大利亚华裔跨学科艺术家，主要创作于摄影领域。她的艺术实践探索自然景观的构图特质、美学、结构形式以及复杂层次，尤其注重人类身体的缺席与存在。

她的创作实践也具有很强的直觉性，并依赖于抽象化的过程。她关注的是人类对空间和地点的感知是如何从个人的经历、身份和意图中形成的，以及他们对周围环境的主观看法。

Caillin在2022年毕业于悉尼国立艺术学院，并获得美术学士学位，主修摄影媒体专业。她还于2018年在悉尼科技大学完成了生命科学文凭课程。她对生物和生态过程的兴趣不断激发着她的艺术创作实践，并加深了她对自然环境的理解。

Caillin Zhang is a Chinese-Australian multidisciplinary artist residing and working in Sydney, largely focused on photographic mediums. Her artistic practice explores the compositional quality, aesthetics, structural forms, and complex layers of the natural landscape, with emphasis on the absence/presence of human bodies.

Her practice is also largely intuitive and relies on abstractive processes. She is concerned with how human perception of space and place is carved from an individual’s own experiences, identity, and intentions, and their subjective view of the environment around them.

Caillin received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the National Art School, Sydney, in 2022, with her major in Photomedia. She has also completed a Diploma of Life Science at the University of Technology Sydney in 2018, and her interest in biological and ecological processes continually inspires her artmaking practice and deepens her understanding of natural environments.
