Fidel Bellumat is a painter who works mainly with ink and markers on various types of paper. Starting from dreams, he creates dreamlike environments and suggestions in which sexuality, irreverence, and politics dialogue. Inspired by the surrealist and expressionist school (de Chirico, Ernst, Tanguy, Guston), he imagines new settings and subjects that can fit into contemporaneity without treating it in a specific way.
